盼望了整个星期，昨天下午终于从子健手中拿到书了,真开心！
子健说一小箱书和两大包裹内有100本书，但是光宏等人的《儿童也有文学》还少20本，日后光宏会补寄。

淑维和舒恩所定购的书、我的教育期刊以及两本《丧家狗》也在箱子里，感谢光宏和子健，辛苦你们了！

以为债务还清了，现在又欠光宏两本《丧家狗》的书债。

昨天下午见子健时全程戴着墨镜，因为读曹文轩的《青铜葵花》 ……

仔细阅读《儿童也有文学》和《走近古人》的序文，匆匆翻阅了两本书，内心充满感动也感恩。立卑师生对文学、对文化教育的热诚，那种择善固执、全力以赴的忘我精神，那种真、善与美很接近曹文轩小说的艺术境界 。

读了整个晚上，终于读完了《儿童也有文学》，感恩光宏与22位编委用心把三年前朱自强教授在“儿童文学研习营”的演讲内容整理出来，弥补了我们错过的遗憾。

习作点评（9篇童话/故事和20首童诗）是意外的惊喜，一辈子的书仅选了光宏的其中10篇好书推荐，有点意犹未尽！

斑竹大人的“走近古人”系列文章已写到158篇，这本《走近古人》所选出的60篇文章应该是精华中的精华了，要用心咀嚼，慢慢品读啊！

再次感谢斑竹大人、光宏和22位编委为我们献上好书，很期待你们的下一本佳作！

收到一封叫我感动的电邮：

Dear Bro Dr. Wong,

Hope you are well and fine.

I have been very busy since last Sunday and getting back to Kuantan on Wednesday and have only manage to sit down today to write you this mail.

I am very glad that I was present at your book launch last saturday at Megaview and the presentation and the talks by your guest and yourself, jolt me into a real wakeup realization. Being not well verse in Mandarin and mostly influence by the english language that guide me to gain knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively, I am quite ignorance on matters related to your speciality and the well being of the Chinese languages, studies, culture and traditions for the Malaysian Chinese.

Even though I manage to catch and understand maybe 30 to 40% of what that transpire on that presentation on that day, I realize the important and the crucial position we, Malaysian chinese are facing in regards to keeping our chinese language and culture.

Being present on that Saturday, make me realize your whole life efforts,determination and sacrifice to promote, uphold this valuable traditions that seem to be vanishing if people like you and your collegeas do not make those heavy commitments to flourish them to grow and to be pass on to the next generation of Malaysian Chinese.

Once we lose this valuable knowledge and history, the word Chinese People is meaningless and will change forever.

You are truly, to me, a Malaysian Chinese National Treasure as far as I am concern and I also think that Pahang Buddhist Association and the Hemodialysis Centre are so lucky to have men like you and Mr Hor to serve and contribute for the society as a whole.

Even though I am a " pisang " as they said, and can only communicate well in English Language, I have always live and follow the right traditions of being a chinese to the best of my abilities and knowledge

Being now exposed and with this realization of the need to uphold this Chinese Studies Culture and History, I am aware that your effort is sometime a very lonely walk but I believe that your strength and your faith and determination will seed and grow this important priceless traditons for the next generation to come.

May the Triple Gems guide you and protect you to accomplish this mission.
